A monument has been built by JUPEM to mark the middle point of Peninsular Malaysia. The coordinate value of the center point has been obtained from the Global Positioning System (GPS) observation and recorded to the nearest second which is Latitude 03 degrees 29 minutes 33 seconds and Longitude 102 degrees 13 minutes 10 seconds. With the approval of the Pahang State Government, the central point of Peninsular Malaysia is now known as Temerloh Central Point of the Peninsula (T3S).
