Clifford School

Clifford School

Step into history at one of Pahang’s oldest English-medium schools. Originally founded in a humble wooden hut, this heritage institution rose from the Great Flood of 1926 with a dignified colonial-style building and a charming Malay Hostel. Officially opened by Sir Hugh Clifford, the school earned a reputation for academic excellence and became the first in the state to offer the School Certificate exam. It also played a unique role during World War II. Today, its preserved architecture, legacy of excellence and notable alumni such as the beloved Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza make it a proud landmark on Kuala Lipis’s heritage trail.
