State to hold ‘Revisit Pahang 2018’ - October 11, 2017

TEMERLOH: Come next year, the Pahang government will organize a “Re-Visit Pahang 2018” (RVP2018) programme as an extension of its tourism promotion efforts during Visit Pahang Year 2017 (VPY2017).

State tourism and culture committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin said the programme would be launched at the end of this year and for now, was planned to be held from January to June next year.He said one factor which led to RVP2018 was the many new attractions which were discovered during VPY2017, and that it would be a loss if these places were not promoted.

“One of the new attractions identified was Gunung Senyum in Maran, which is a choice destination for people who love rock climbing as it is challenging. He said RVP2018 would also help homestay and hotel operators as well as others who would benefit from the economic spillover. — Bernama

BENTONG: The Government will assist the Indian community in Bentong by providing them with training and courses in e-commerce, says Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
