Sri Paya Tioman Chalet

Minang Cove is a beachfront resort, located in the south of Tioman Island, a 10-minute speedboat ride from Genting Jetty. Tioman Airport is a 30-minute speedboat ride away. It takes a 2-hour ferry ride to reach Genting Jetty on Tioman Island from Mersing Jetty.Air-conditioned rooms each come with a terrace offering sea views. Juara Lagoon

Juara Lagoon Resort is a spacious and colourful establishment run by the same management of Barook River View and the Juara Turtle Project. Located at the northern edge of Juara, near the end of Mentawak Bay, the resort is not open for conventional tourist stays, but provides a lodge for college groups and volunteers working on sea turtle conservation at the village. The accommodation is mostly dormitory-based, with a few wooden chalets perched along the beach. Just like its sister hotel, a river flows along its edge to the end of the cape. There are virtually no tourist facilities, except a large open-air hall with a cafeteria for gatherings.

The hotel comprises two wings - the original is a messy but charming clump of wooden chalets and huts spread across a dense garden area peppered with logs, driftwood and decorative items composed of old buoys, kayaks, ropes and boat frames. The new wing is composed of double-storey wooden villas nearby perched along the beach. Both feature a casual, hippie-style environment staffed by family and friends. Besides operating Tioman Surf Center, the hotel also manages a cafe and bar while providing free wifi Internet access for its guests.

Permai Chalet Tioman

The chalets are nestled in a small grassy clearing facing the beach, which has a nice view of Barok Bay, the northern portion of Juara Beach. A suitable place to enjoy peaceful surroundings, the hotel also has a restaurant, with more eateries scattered in the vicinity.
